Company development through projects
Project activity is one of the key tools for achieving the company's strategic goals. The development of the Tamaki company is carried out, among other things, through the implementation of various types of projects:
- Investment projects. They are aimed at large-scale transformations within the company, characterized by long-term implementation and the need to attract additional financing.
- Improvement projects. They are focused on optimizing production processes and eliminating emerging problems using lean manufacturing methods. These projects usually do not require significant financial investments and are implemented within 6 months.
- Cross-functional projects. They are initiated to solve cross-functional tasks between different departments of the company.
Regardless of the type of project, all of them are implemented according to a single methodology and are carried out with the participation of project teams. Each project includes several mandatory stages:
- Setting goals;
- Diagnostics at the initial stage;
- Development of an action plan;
- Project implementation;
- Final diagnostics after completion of the work.
For improvement projects, a description of the current state, ideal state, and target state of the changes to be achieved within the specified time frame is developed.
The active participation of all stakeholders is necessary to improve the efficiency of work on projects. Therefore, a project team is formed for each project, consisting of representatives of various departments. A collaborative approach allows us to look at the problem from different perspectives and find the most constructive solutions.
Upon completion of investment and improvement projects, an assessment of their results is carried out, including the determination of the economic effect. Project team members receive additional bonuses, depending on their contribution to the successful implementation of the project.
Among the significant projects implemented in 2024 were:
- "Optimization of the warehouse management process (WMS)",
- "Optimization of the Saucy product release process",
- "Optimization of the Panko breadcrumb manufacturing process", etc.
For 2025, at Tamaki, we have also identified a pool of projects for ourselves, including "The introduction of a national system for labeling and tracing Honest Sign products," "Optimizing storage locations in warehouses," and others.
A number of projects have been identified in the plans for 2025, including "The introduction of a national system for labeling and tracking Honest Mark products," "Optimization of storage locations in warehouses," and others.
One of Tamaki's standards is "Continuity and efficiency of improvements in the company," and projects allow you to keep up the pace and develop in a given direction!
